The Eurocet Project

Article 10, paragraph 2 of the European Directive 2004/23/EC requires the Competent Authority to establish and maintain a publicly accessible register of tissue establishments specifying the activities for which they have been authorised. In addition, paragraph 3 states "Member States and the Commission shall establish a network linking the national tissue establishment registers".

The Eurocet Project, which was funded by the European Commission, has established The Eurocet Registry which will include the name and address of the Tissue Establishment, and the type of tissue and / or cell to which the authorisation pertains. More information on the Eurocet Registry can be found at: www.eurocet.org.
